This episode connects us with Jackson Bird. Jackson is a professional cricketer who resides in Hobart. Jackson currently plays for Tasmania in the Sheffield Shield and also for The Sydney Sixers in the Big Bash League where he was a member of the 2020/21premiership winning team.
Jackson has represented Australia in test cricket on 9 occasions, making his debut at the boxing day test in 2012 where he received cap no #431 from Bill Lawry. He has also played county cricket for both Hampshire in 2015 and Nottingham in 2016.

Away from cricket Jackson is a proud father to son Max and is due to marry his partner Scarlett in the near future. In the business world, Jackson has just opened a Pinot and Picasso studio in Hobart and Launceston with two friends and fellow cricketers Jordan Silk and Charlie Wakim.
